Reflecting the brand’s new design philosophy and attracting attention with its dynamic character, the new Kia K8 sedan will be available in Korea before the end of the year. The brand has shown only the body design of the K8 for now.
It was known that Kia would release the successor of the model known as the K7 or Cadenza under the name K8. The Korean brand showed off the body design of the new Kia K8 today.
Reflecting the new philosophy adopted by the company within the scope of restructuring, we see the frameless tiger nose grille dominating this area in the front part of the Kia K8. This detail allows us to easily distinguish the new sedan from other Kia models. We see a diamond-shaped pattern on the entire shutter. In addition, the same details are also available in the signal lamps under the thin LED lighting.
Kia states that the design of the K8, which has a dynamic character, is inspired by ‘yachts sailing in calm waters’. This dynamic look is supported by large wheels, while the prominent shoulder line and the roofline that descends backwards create a liftback atmosphere in the rear. At the rear of the new K8, there is a diffuser decorated with chrome details, which is home to slim LED lights and angular exhaust outlets extending from the length.
The interior and technical features of the Kia K8 will appear in the future. It is stated that the car will be available in Korea before the end of the year. No announcement has yet been made for other markets.
