THE CREATOR OF DEATH STRANDING COULD NOT BE MISSING AT SUMMER GAME FEST 2021
In the framework of the Summer Gamne Fest 2021, Geoff Keighley had a very pleasant talk with Hideo Kojima in which he talked about the next projects of the creator of Death Stranding and Metal Gear Solid.
The point here is that the pandemic has halted many developments and the projects that Hideo Kojima might bring to mind cannot be executed to the letter. So when the interview with Geoff Keighley was drawing to a close, there was no advertisement of any kind, until at the last moment the finale was presented.
What we saw in action was a trailer for Death Stranding for PS5, which had already been rumored, but not confirmed. What is special is that this will be a kind of Director’s Cut in which we could see additional material and, of course, improved graphics.
Now, the main reference in the Death Stranding Director’s Cut trailer is that there is a very serious reference to Metal Gear Solid, starting with a shot that reminds us of the first game and then a box of oranges that could well be used by Snake.
HIDEO KOJIMA’S NEW VERSION OF DEATH STRANDING WILL BE PRESENTED VERY SOON
Let’s not lose sight of the fact that Death Stranding Director’s Cut has the legend that it is ‘coming out very soon’ on PS5 and that can mean many things, so we have to wait for some kind of announcement or official presentation through a State of Play.
Let’s not lose sight of the fact that Hideo Kojima’s game is still promoted as one from PlayStation Studios, so the Death Stranding series is still under the supervision of Sony Interactive Entertainment.
