Hisense A7 smartphone aims to offer inactivity-oriented operations such as surfing the internet, editing documents and reading books with its monochrome e-ink screen, with 5G support.
Color LCD and OLED screens dominate the world of smartphones. It is not uncommon for users to turn to different technologies other than colored illumination type screens. Hisense, on the other hand, persistently continues to e-ink smartphones.
What will Hisense A7 offer?
Hisense has only been launching smartphones with e-ink displays since last year. Hisense A5 Pro, Hisense A5 Pro CC and Hisense A5C models had color e-ink screens.
E-ink or electronic ink screens offer much more energy efficiency than standard screens. However, there is a pale appearance. Black-and-white screens try to feel more like a book. Color e-ink screens add some color to the work, but the responsiveness is a bit lower. In addition, it is not well suited for mobile operations such as games or videos.
The Hisense A7 5G smartphone model, which will be introduced on December 22, will combine a monochrome e-ink display and 5G connectivity. On this phone, activities that do not require mobility such as internet surfing, reading books, document editing can be done comfortably.
The Hisense A7 5G smartphone model with a single rear camera, LED flash and fingerprint reader is expected to have the UNISOC Tiger T7510 chipset. The chipset in 12nm process includes 4 Cortex-A75 and 4 Cortex-A55 cores. The graphics unit is PowerVR series and runs at 800MHz.
The Hisense A7, which reduces the cost a little more in terms of hardware, will probably not be the only smartphone of the users, but it can be the second phone alternative for those who want to use certain functions without tiring the main phone.
