AMD Radeon 21.1.1 driver has been released, offering support for Hitman 3 and Quake II RTX games.

AMD has introduced the AMD Radeon 21.1.1 driver, which offers optimization for two games. The driver supports Hitman 3 and Quake II RTX games, as well as several bug fixes.

Hitman 3, the recently released IO Interactive production, tells about a brand new adventure of Agent 47. AMD states that this driver has achieved a 10 percent performance improvement compared to the 20.12.1 driver. Note that the test was done with RX 6800 XT 16 GB GPU and Ryzen 9 5900X CPU at 4K Ultra settings.

Supporting Vulkan-assisted ray-tracing, Quake II RTX allows the latest AMD GPUs to benefit from the technology. Thanks to the official support that comes with this driver, AMD graphics card owners will be able to experience a smoother experience. In particular, AMD has not shared the performance increase figures.
