“Into the Spiderverse” has remained one of the favorite movies for fans of the Marvel Comics hero Spider-Man.
With a fresh animation technique and a story that from scratch manages to introduce its audience to characters in the Marvel universe without the need to make more deliveries, it was logical that the film managed to be crowned “Best Animated Film” at the Oscars in 2019.
The film’s soundtrack was also one of the points that received the most praise from viewers, in which the song “Sunflower” by Post Malone and Swae Lee stands out.
Peter Ramsey, one of the film’s directors, participated in a question-and-answer session via Twitter where he was questioned about the process after choosing the themes for the film.
Thanks! It was a group effort, all us directors, producers, and music folk. We weighed in on which artists/songs we liked, all driven by the idea that we were reflecting Miles' life and character through the music; we wanted it to feel as if MILES was scoring the movie. https://t.co/CA35EtYvEv

The sequel to the film is currently in development, and is expected to be released in October 2022, after suffering a delay in its production.
