Huawei has just announced its new portable speaker AI Speaker 2. The accessory is the company’s first to bring a built-in battery, making it easy to transport anywhere. The speaker still has similarities with the Sound X, released in February, but replaces the buttons with a touch panel that enables the audio transmission function with a touch.
Its specifications include a 10W speaker, two subwoofers, a 3.900mAh battery with 24W fast charging and a set of four microphones with a range of up to 5 meters that captures audio signals in 360º horizontally and 180º vertically. It is also possible to control the speaker and other devices in the house with voice commands through the AI Life app from Huawei and the HiLink system.
The Huawei AI Speaker 2 will be sold in black and white, in versions that must be plugged in at a cost of 299 yuan and versions with a battery costing 399 yuan.
The Chinese manufacturer took the day off to announce several new products. The Nova 7 line consists of three devices, equipped with Kirin processors, support for the 5G connection, up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. MatePad is a cheaper version of MatePad Pro, geared for use in education with several special functions, also bringing a Kirin processor, 4GB or 6GB of RAM, 64GB or 128GB of storage and a 7.250mAh battery.
The Smart Display V55i, which has a 55-inch display and pop-up camera for intelligent functions, in addition to eight speakers, four-core Honghu processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Finally, Children Watch 3 Pro Super is Huawei’s new smartwatch for children, which now brings 4G and several improvements in location systems.
