Huawei is preparing to come up with the new generation foldable phone Huawei Mate X2. The Chinese manufacturer will present the new generation phone to us on February 22, with the announcement it made today. We shared the news on this subject with you. Just recently, the official press image of the phone was leaked. As you know, the Mate X series had a folding screen, which left the phone vulnerable to scratches and breaks.
We see that Huawei has switched to a Galaxy Fold-style design to fix this problem in the new generation Mate X2 series. At least, it is understood from the visuals that there will be such a design. The phone has a screen that folds in and a second screen outside; it also enables daily work to be done.
Obviously, the most striking aspect of the leaked image is that the corrugated design has been almost completely removed. Although it is still early to say something clear about this design, Huawei was expected to minimize the gutter work thanks to the newly developed closing mechanism.
It is also among the information that the new Mate X2, which will be powered by the Kirin 9000 chipset, will have a hardware similar to the Mate 40 Pro on the camera side.
