Chinese technology giant Huawei today began selling the smart screen designed for cars. HiCar was so in demand that the entire first batch was sold in just 60 seconds.

The smart screen has an 8.9 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 720 pixels. The panel in question supports 16.7 million colors and 72 percent of the NTSC color space. The device has a pop-up camera system that allows video calls at a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels.

Offers the possibility to use mobile applications
You can use mobile apps on Huawei and Honor branded smartphones on Huawei’s car screen. Supporting voice commands, the device also offers control with hand gestures.

Huawei HiCar was launched in the Chinese market with a price tag of $ 264. It is not yet known when the company will release the smart car screen in other countries.
