Samsung is continuing its update distribution. Finally, the camera update has been released for the Galaxy S20 and Note 20 series models.
Recently, it is necessary to acknowledge Samsung at the point of update distribution. The company is upgrading its entry and middle segment phones to Android 11 One UI version 3.0. There are even phones that are more than two years old among the models that receive updates. On the other hand, Samsung also aims to bring some of the developments in flagship phones to the old models. The Galaxy S20 and Note20 series are lucky in this respect because they started to get the features of the Galaxy S21 models with the previous update.
This time the camera features are on target. Some camera features exclusive to Samsung’s Galaxy S21 series have started to be offered to GalaxyS20, Galaxy S20 Plus, Galaxy Note20 Ultra, Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Note20 Ultra models as part of the latest update.
New Camera features for Galaxy S20 and Note 20 Series
With the new update currently released in Germany, users will now be able to capture portrait images in low light conditions. This shooting mode was previously only available in the Galaxy S21 series. Night Mode also works with an ultra-wide camera.
The company also added three new effects to the Portrait mode: Background, high-key mono, and low-tone mono. New effects studio-like effects allow you to change the background color to black, white or a random color chosen by the camera app. In night mode, users can now let the camera choose the exposure or use the maximum exposure possible. What’s more, the ultra-wide camera can now be used in the camera’s Pro mode.
