Financial technology platform NIUM has announced that it has signed a partnership with the payment technology firm Geoswift in a recently released statement. According to the official press release, the partnership will open the way for China to reconnect with the rest of the world, and will enable potential investors and customers to benefit from RippleNet while sending money to China.
Ripple Partner NIUM Steps Into Chinese Market
China is known to be one of the busiest countries in the world in terms of payments, and the vast majority of these payments are made cross-border. With this partnership made by RippleNet member NIUM, the giant blockchain-based payment firm Ripple has also stepped into the territory of China.
NIUM also stated that RippleNet infrastructure will be used in this partnership. It is also seen that Ripple has made improvements to increase payment corridors with this step. Reaching significant volumes in the payment corridors of Austria, Mexico and the Philippines before this partnership, Ripple is expected to bring a significant volume to XRP through the Chinese channel.
NIUM also had the chance to make a name in Southeastern Asia region after North and South America by taking advantage of the technology offered by Ripple.
