The update released for OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T carries the OxygenOS version number 10.3.11. The update for the Nord N100 has the version number OxygenOS 10.5.8 (NA) / 10.5.10 (EU).
OnePlus Continues Update Distribution
The latest software released for OnePlus 6, OnePlus 6T and OnePlus Nord N100 does not bring any new features. The update brings May 2021 security patches, fixes for some known issues, and improvements to system stability.
- Android security patch updated to 2021.05
- Known issues fixed and system stability improved
With the new update, the biggest wish of OnePlus 6 / 6T users will be that new problems will not arise. Although the company continues to work on Android 11 for both phones, the process does not go as desired. In the Android 11 update, the system has not reached the desired stability level, some sources even mention that both phones cannot be upgraded to Android 11 even by the end of the year.
OnePlus Nord has not officially announced the availability of the Android 11 update for the N100 yet. However, what we do know is that only one major Android update will be released for this phone.
