The American studio balances the power of the .357 revolver and fixes a bug that increased long-range damage in Call of Duty: Warzone.
Call of Duty Warzone receives a patch that balances the power of one of the most used weapons so far. The .357 revolver sees its Snake Shot accessory greatly reduce its combat performance.
As reported in the update notes, the damage influencing the accessory has been completely rebalanced. Additionally, a bug that caused damage over long distances to be higher than it should have been fixed. Lastly, Infinity Ward has reduced the trigger delay on the Quick Trigger and Heavy Trigger attachments on all .357 calibers.
This completely changes the perception of the equipment in battle royale. It was common to see players use the revolver with this accessory and in its akimbo version, that is, one in each hand. Now it will take more skill to tap its potential.
In another order of things, the rest of the corrections dot the challenges that have to do with smoke. It is quite common to find targets that need to kill a certain number of enemies near smoke. The company has realized that the requirements are higher than they should have, so they have adjusted the number to make them easier to complete. This includes the challenge that allows you to unlock the Bruen MK9.
Attempts have also been made to correct exploits from the use of vehicles in order to prevent them. Last, but not least, that correction extends to the Infected modes, including its Terrestrial Warfare strand.
The patch is now available in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone. It does not require a download, but will be available within the game itself. Remember that you can access the battle royale side for free on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
