ON THE OCCASION OF THE PREMIERE OF THE ANIME OF KAIFUKU JUTSUSHI NO YARINAOSHI, THE TEAM BEHIND THE ANIME SHARED A WARNING TO THE PUBLIC
The premieres of this winter anime season are given one after another, and among them, there is a new proposal called Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi.
Based on a light novel of the same name by the writer Rui Tsukiyo, it tells the story of Keyar, a healer who works alongside a group of adventurers. Even though he does his job well, he ends up humiliated, exploited and abused by his classmates. He was harassed in various ways.
KAIFUKU JUTSUSHI NO YARINAOSHI HANDLES VERY CONTROVED ISSUES
On the verge of fainting, he has access to a magic that allows him to “heal the world,” and he turns time four years in the past. During the story he takes a terrible and heinous revenge against his companions.
It should be noted that everything is very graphic, and those who suffer the most are the women who make up his party. Sexual situations are frequent, even involving rape. This anime is called Redo of Healer in the West.
The fact is that Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi is not suitable for all audiences. It is for the same reason that a warning was published through the series’ official account on Twitter.
It is aimed at the community of anime fans. There it is highlighted that it is a work of fiction, emphasizing that it has no relation to real people, places or organizations. As for its content, it is not made to promote certain attitudes.
IT IS NOT A SERIES SUITABLE FOR MINORS AND SENSITIVE PEOPLE
Something that stands out is that it contains extreme violence, and is not recommended for minors. The message was posted this week, the same day that its first episode premiered in Japan.
Perhaps after the controversies caused by other anime a message of this type was decided. The fact is that not many thought that one day Tsukiyo’s work would have an animated adaptation. It is a novel with very strong content.
More than anything in the sexual sense, and in fact both Funimation and Crunchyroll went on to locate Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi. The same can be said for Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
The only way to appreciate the series in the West is via HIDIVE. It will be a matter of seeing how this series does as its episodes are released. It is a work of the TNK studio, which is located in Nerima, Tokyo and was founded in 1999.
