LG, which launched its first OLED monitor last month, will continue to expand its product line in this category. It is reported that the company will release a 27-inch OLED monitor this year in collaboration with JOLED.
LG Electronics launched its first OLED monitor with a 31.5-inch 4K display last month. UltraFine OLED Pro 32EP950 model uses a panel signed by JOLED.
It looks like LG and JOLED will continue this collaboration. According to new information leaked to the Internet, the South Korean company plans to launch the 27-inch OLED monitor this year. The new model will likely be named 27EP95.
JOLED’s history goes back to 2015
JOLED (Japan OLED) was founded in 2015 by Japan Display, Sony and Panasonic to produce OLED displays. The company started low-scale commercial production of 21.6-inch 4K OLED panels on its 4.5-Gen pilot production line as of December 2017.
In 2020, JOLED began mass production of OLED displays using inkjet printing technology on its 5.5-Gen (1300×1500 mm) production line in Japan.
