LG Electronics is launching its foldable Rollable (provisional name), flagship Rainbow and budget-friendly Q83 models in the first half of 2021. In March 2021, the firm plans to launch its flagship smartphone Rainbow in South Korea.

The LG Rollable, which will be the second product of the firm’s Explorer Project after the Wing model, can stretch from 6.8 inches to 7.4 inches. The slimness and lightness of the LG Rollable is its main advantage over foldable smartphones. Also, the screen of the device will not contain any wrinkle effects that will negatively affect this impressive experience. An official of the South Korean telecommunications company that was testing LG Rollable said the grip feel and usability when the screen is stretched is better than other foldable smartphones. This model will determine LG’s destiny in the smartphone market.

The Rainbow, LG Velvet’s successor and the company’s first flagship model of the Universal line, was designed to increase LG’s market share. It is known that the device will come with a high-performance Qualcom Snapdragon 888 processor and it carries traces of the design of the LG Velvet model. In addition, Wacom firm is expected to bring its summer experience to a different point with its AES (active electrostatic) pen. South Korean telecommunications companies are expected to conduct field tests at the end of this month or early next month, and the release date of the LG Rainbow model will be determined based on the results of these tests.

The LG Q83 model is expected to make a great contribution to the company’s smartphone sales this year. The Q83 will come with very good hardware features and a very successful rear camera for its price. It was stated by the company officials that the model will be launched as the K series outside South Korea and that it is important for the 5G market.
