Chinese technology giant Meizu will soon launch its first smartwatch. Patent visuals revealing the design of the device, which is expected to be called Meizu Watch, have been published.
Since the middle of last year, there have been rumors that Meizu is planning to release a smartwatch. Finally, it was reported that the company started mass production.
A device with model number M007W has appeared in the database of the China National Intellectual Property Office (CNIPA). As you can imagine, we are talking about Meizu Watch.
Published patent images show that the smart watch will carry a square display with very thick bezels. It can be said that the overall design is similar to the Apple Watch.
Meizu 18 may come with
Meizu Watch is expected to be equipped with AMOLED display. It will also offer standard features such as a heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor and physical activity tracking.
There is information that the smart watch will support LTE connection. It is also claimed to work with Flyme For Watch software, which is a special version of the Flyme operating system.
The release date of Meizu Watch is not clear yet. However, it is stated that the smart watch can be introduced with Meizu 18 series smartphones.
