One of the technology manufacturers, Microsoft has officially confirmed that the dual-screen smartphone will be on the market in Europe. Surface Duo will open to the world in early 2021.

In November, there were reports that Microsoft is planning to launch the Surface Duo in other regions, starting with the European market. Now Microsoft has officially confirmed that the company plans to launch its dual-screen phone in Canada, the UK, France and Germany in early 2021.

Issues are expected to be resolved in the European version
There were also some reports that the smartphone was problematic. Some issues were reported about cracking the frame around the charging connector, weak signal and high latency in data transfer. Microsoft is expected to resolve all these problems with the European version of the device.

The Surface Duo has two displays of 5.6 inches each. The resolution of each panel is 1800 x 1350 pixels and the total resolution is 2700 x 1800 pixels. The smartphone is built on a Snapdragon 855 chip system. Battery capacity is 3,566 mAh and 18 watt charging support is available.

The camera resolution of the smartphone, which is 4.8 and 9.6 mm respectively when the case is opened and folded, is only 11 megapixels. Surface Duo with pen support comes without NFC and 5G support. The extent to which it can compete with the increasingly popular flexible display smartphones is a mystery for now.
