Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Plus comes with a Tiger Lake processor, 4G LTE, and removable storage.Surface Pro 7 Plus, the business and education oriented version of Surface Pro 7, was announced by Microsoft.
Similar to last year’s Surface Pro X model, the product has hardware upgrades.
Surface Pro 7 Plus Features
Surface Pro 7 Plus gets its power from 11th generation Intel Tiger Lake processors. These processors are Core i3-1115G4, Core i5-1135G7 and Core i7-1165G7. Note that although it is business oriented, there are no vPro options in the product. Tiger Lake processors come with Intel Iris Xe graphics. In this sense, serious GPU support is provided.
The offered 4G LTE feature has not been seen in the Pros since the 5th generation model. Qualcomm Snapdragon X20 4G LTE modem is only available in Core i5 configuration. This was because Microsoft made the Core i5 fanless and put the modem where the fan would be. We estimate a similar situation here.
Microsoft also adds removable storage to its tablet, which was previously exclusive to Surface Pro X and Surface Laptop 3. Thus, instead of paying Microsoft’s expensive prices for SSD upgrades, users can make their own changes.
Surface Pro 7 Plus models start at $ 899, or 4G LTE models start at $ 1,149. Additionally, LPDDR4x RAM up to 32 GB and SSD options up to 1 TB are available.
