The Middle-Earth 3 announcement could be held at the E3 2021 event.
Monolith Productions, the developer of the Middle-Earth games, which are among the books of Hobbit and The Lord Of The Rings, is working on Middle-Earth 3. The game is predicted to come for the next generation or PC and have a huge open world like Skyrim. Additionally, the game is said to be officially announced at the E3 2021 event.
The official name of the third episode of the Middle-Earth game series has not yet been announced, but the two previous titles were Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor and Middle Earth: Shadow of War, and they were released in 2014 and 2017 respectively. Monolith hasn’t released any games since 2017. This causes high expectations for the new game.
A recently deleted Reddit leak revealed a few interesting details about the new Middle Earth 3 game. It is suggested that the game will have a huge open world like Skyrim’s and there will also be horse riding. This will be an impressive feat because unless you enter a building or dungeon, there is no loading screen in Skyrim’s open world. The infamous Nemesis system should also be in this game. This system claims that enemies learn after fighting you. Based on a previous job posting at Monolith Productions, Middle-Earth 3 appears to suggest that it will use Nemesis for both Orcs and humans. This means that you should be able to fight all kinds of enemies in the upcoming game.
Game studio Monolith Productions has been known to have been working on the Nemesis system and the Lord of the Rings game for a while. In this sense, E3 2021 will most likely be the scene of the official announcement of the game.
