“A series of suspense and horror explores the untold stories of the Hotel Overlook”

HBO has announced that a new series called Overlook is on the way, and is inspired by Stephen King’s “The Shining”

Produced by JJ Abrams and Ben Stephenson, television chief of Bad Robot, the show is described as “a suspense and horror series exploring the untold stories of the Overlook Hotel, the most famous haunted hotel in American fiction.”

Warner Bros. Television will produce the show and Warner Bros. International Television Distribution will be the global distributor for the show.

Other shows also announced by HBO on April 17 include a set in the DC universe “Justice League Dark” and an original drama, “Duster,” which Abrams has co-written with LaToya Morgan, writer of “The Walking Dead.”

Set in the southwestern United States in the 1970s, “Duster” “explores the life of a getaway driver for a growing crime syndicate,” according to variety.

We hope to see the series based on the famous suspense thriller soon.
