The features of the Moto Edge 20 Pro model, which will come with Snapdragon 870, have emerged today. Motorola has turned its eyes to the upper segment.
Motorola, which is under the umbrella of Lenovo, has been focusing on the middle and entry segment for a long time. Now, the company is giving the signals that it will turn its eyes to the upper segment. The Moto Edge 20 Pro model, which appeared today, has revealed all its features thanks to TENAA. This phone, which will be in the upper segment, can gain an important trump card, especially against its Chinese competitors.
Moto Edge 20 Pro features revealed
According to TENAA, the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship-level Snapdragon 870 chipset. This model, which will come with 6 GB, 8 GB and 12 GB RAM options, will be available in 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB internal storage versions. The screen of the phone will be 6.67 inches in FHD + resolution. This screen, which will come with an OLED panel, will probably have a refresh rate of 90 Hz and above.
Edge 20 Pro, which will come out with the Android 11 operating system and a 4,230 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, will almost intimidate its competitors with its camera. On the back of the phone, there will be a 108 Megapixel main + 8 Megapixel + 2 Megapixel camera setup. Motorola wants to get a tangible score, especially in DxOMark, with the main camera.
The biggest reason Motorola has not been successful with the phones it has offered for sale so far is undoubtedly the price policy it follows. Motorola was trying to sell mid-range phones at that level, while rivals were selling flagship models for $500. We expect the company to spruce up its pricing policy this year and to follow a favorable pricing policy to fight its Chinese competitors.
