According to leaker Ishan Agarwal informed Pricebaba Daily, a new Motorola cell phone is coming on the market. The alleged Motorola Edge Lite has even won certification from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the United States regulatory body.
The smartphone would be a more basic variant of the company’s current top of the line, announced in April. According to the information, the new device should arrive with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G or Snapdragon 730G chipset.
The design of the phone was not revealed. On the other hand, from its model number (XT2075-3), it was possible to identify a shopkeeper who has already created an ad for him. According to the information, the Motorola Edge Lite should have a battery of 4,700 mAh, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
A point highlighted in this ad is that the title of the cell phone has the acronym ‘5G’. In this case, it is more likely to be released with the Snapdragon 765G, compatible with the technology. More recently, Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 690 intermediary platform.
A new middleman
Among others, the cell phone should also hit the market with Android 10 on board. The price of the device is also quoted: € 398.45. In direct conversion, based on today’s quote (19) and tax free, the value in Brazil would be approximately R $ 2,395.
Note that there is no official release date or confirmation for the Motorola Edge Lite. The Motorola Edge line, which has received good critical acclaim, has also shown defects on the screen after launch.
If, in fact, the Motorola Edge Lite is launched on the market, it may be a bit more stout than the Motorola One Fusion +. This, however, was announced this month and features a Snapdragon 730 chipset. In Europe, the device costs € 300.
