Bringing together luxury and innovation in the automobile world, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class takes safety a step further with its new features. The 2021 model S-Class will also have airbags for the rear seat passengers.
Regarding cars, German car manufacturers have always been among the companies that have managed to stand out. One of the prominent vehicles in this regard has been the Mercedes-Benz S-Class.
S-Class has been at the point where luxury and innovation meet for years, even sitting in the leadership seat indisputably. The company is once again groundbreaking with the 2021 S-Class and is the first car to install direct airbags for the rear passenger seats.
Another safety measure from the Mercedes-Benz S-Class
Although it sounds quite simple when it is read, it is not that easy to apply since the child safety seat is located at the back. However, thanks to the new security measure, this disorder can be overcome and airbags are used to protect children as much as adults.
The new feature brought to the vehicle will be accompanied by smart, inflatable seat belts that will serve as complementary airbags. However, the security measures offered by the company to its users in the new flagship do not end with these only.
In addition to the direct airbags placed on the back, the new S-Class also features PRE-SAFE Impulse Side technology. This technology uses radar sensors to detect sudden blows from the side. Security measures in the new Mercedes do not stop there either. The E-ACTIVE BODY CONTROL suspension, which will take place in the vehicle, directs the blows to the hardest points of the vehicle, thus ensuring the highest level of safety within the vehicle.
With all this in mind, the new S-Class seems to be the leader in passenger safety. It is also very likely that the company will release different new features as the vehicle’s release date approaches.
