The new Mitsubishi Outlander has been introduced digitally via Amazon Live as previously announced. The new SUV thus became the first car to be introduced on the broadcast platform in question. The 2021 Outlander will be available in the US and other markets before the year ends.
Rising on the same platform as the Nissan X Trail, the model uses many technologies of Nissan. The dimensions of the fourth generation Outlander are 4710 mm in length, 1862 mm in width and 1748 mm in height. In other words, it is possible to say that the SUV has widened 51 mm, 15 mm longer and 38 mm higher than its predecessor. On the other hand, there is an increase of 36 mm in wheelbase (2706 mm). In this way, leg room has been improved for both the front and the back.
On the front part of the 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander, we see the brand’s design philosophy named ‘Dynamic Front Shield’. In this area where the louvres and lighting form an ‘X’ like form, slim LED daytime running lights are located at the top. The camera and sensors that help security systems are hidden under the shutter. There are vertically positioned lights on the edges of the bumper. When viewed from the side, the slim stop group draws attention at the rear of the SUV, which draws a muscular appearance with its large wheels and design.
The new Outlander offers a three-row seat arrangement for 7 people as standard. In addition, 11 airbags, USB A and USB C ports and 18-inch wheels are among the standard features of the SUV. The interior, where material quality is improved, has a 12.3 inch digital display screen and a 9 inch multimedia screen. In addition, wireless smartphone charging unit, Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay support are among the features.

Under the hood of the 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander is the newly developed 2.5-liter gasoline engine by the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance. The engine, which produces 184 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 245 Nm of torque at 3600 rpm, is combined with an 8-speed CVT transmission. Equipped with the ‘Super All-Wheel Control 4WD’ system, the SUV can select six different driving modes with the newly developed mode selector. The mode selector is also available in 2WD versions, but the mud mode is not included in this version.
