Soon, fans of Ninja Turtles will win a free mobile game for Android and iOS. Developed by Synapse, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Madness is set to be released in September by publisher Kongregate.
The game will be inspired by the characters from the recent animation version of the Nickelodeon children’s channel. With elements of RPG, the player’s goal is to form teams with heroes and villains to face a new threat that dominates the streets and sewers of New York.
In another point of TMNT: Mutant Madness, the game will bring mechanics for building bases similar to Fallout Shelter. Here, the goal will be to build and decorate the base in the sewers of the heroes Leonardo, Raphael, Michellangelo and Donatello.
The game will also feature scenarios well known to those who have been following the Ninja Turtles franchise for many years. In addition to the aforementioned New York sewers, the streets of the American city and the hideout of the villainous Destroyer will be present.
“We are excited to reveal this game, especially to longtime fans,” says Tony Perkins, Kongregate representative. “Our team has been working hard to bring these classic characters to life. We know that players will appreciate the level of detail, as it is a game that was made by fans for fans ”.
Free game with microtransactions
Despite being presented as free-to-play, TMNT: Mutant Madness should have microtransaction mechanics. For example, some special characters should only be released when the player buys them from a special store within the game.
Finally, few additional details were revealed. As stated, the title is expected to be released in September this year. However, no specific date has been revealed.
