Nintendo surprisingly announced the Nintendo Switch OLED model. So, what does this new model offer to the players? Here are the features.

Japanese game giant Nintendo came out with the Nintendo Switch OLED model today. The new model, which will be available on October 8, 2021, will offer another option for how they want to play the extensive game library on Nintendo Switch.

The Switch’s OLED model will have a similar overall size to the Nintendo Switch console. However, it will stand out with its larger 7-inch OLED display with vibrant colors and high contrast. The Switch OLED model also features a large adjustable stand for tabletop mode, a new dock with wired LAN port for online gaming, 64GB of internal storage and built-in speakers with enhanced audio for handheld and desktop gaming.

Nintendo Switch (OLED model) launches on October 8, the same day as Metroid Dread, the direct sequel to Metroid Fusion. With a vibrant OLED display, embarking on intergalactic bounty hunter Samus Aran’s latest adventure aboard Metroid Dread will be even more immersive.

The Switch OLED model, which includes white Joy-Con controls, a black main unit and a white slot, will reveal its difference with its appearance. The console will also be available in a model with Neon Red and Neon Blue Joy-Con controllers, a black headunit and a black socket. Thus, players will be able to make any color combination they want.
