Nintendo Switch is getting a new science fiction thriller. Wired Productions and Keoken Interactive have announced that “Deliver Us The Moon” will hit the Nintendo platform this August, or more specifically, on August 14.
We knew that the 2019 science fiction game would arrive on the Nintendo Switch, but previously there was no release date for the port according to the pair, this date applies not only to North America, but also to Europe.
Deliver Us The Moon is a science fiction thriller that debuted last year on the PC, and has since hit PS4 and Xbox One. After its release, it debuted with decent critical acclaim.
Depending on the platform, their metacritic score ranges from 67 to 76. Meanwhile, on Steam, 87% of users have reviewed the game positively in nearly 1,700 reviews.
As for the game itself, it unfolds in the near apocalyptic future where Earth’s natural resources have been depleted. Earth is frantically trying to survive, and as a result, a lone astronaut is sent to the moon on a critical mission to save humanity from extinction.
If any of this sounds familiar, it’s because it’s a fairly common science fiction, but the story is deeper than this superficial level tone.
