On laptops, we will now be able to see high-end NVIDIA RTX graphics chips, along with AMD’s Ryzen processors.German retailer ElectronicPartner began listing the features of Acer’s next-generation Nitro 5 (AN517-41-R9S5) gaming laptop on its website.
The Nitro 5 model combines the strengths of AMD’s next-generation Zen 3 architecture and NVIDIA’s current Ampere architecture.
This laptop will use Ryzen 7 5800H, a member of the Ryzen 5000 (Cezanne-H) series. The chip, which has 8 cores and 16 threads, has 16 MB L3 cache. When we look at past tests, we can say that it can reach frequency levels of at least 4.45 GHz.
On the other hand, there is a mobile version of the RTX 3080, which is probably the flagship model of the green team. This GPU seems to have 8 GB of GDDR6 memory. Nitro 5 comes with a 17.3 inch Full HD IPS panel display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz. In addition, 32 GB DDR4 memory and 1 TB NVMe SSD are used in this model.
The German store has a price tag of 1,948 euros (including 19% VAT), corresponding to approximately $ 2,372. However, this price may not be the final selling price of the product and we may see a change when it is put on retail sale.
