OPPO Find X3 has revealed that it will come with 8GB of RAM and Android 11 in the Geekbench test. Yesterday, we saw several screenshots revealing that the OPPO Find X3, model code PEDM00, will run Android 11-based ColorOS 11.2 and have 8GB of RAM built-in. Today, the smartphone appeared on Geekbench with 8GB of RAM and Android 11 and confirmed these features.
The chipset that powers the smartphone is shown as “kona” in the motherboard section, which is the code name for the Snapdragon 865 processor. However, one of yesterday’s leaked images showed us the About page of Find X3 and revealed that the smartphone will come with a Snapdragon 870 chip under the hood, which is basically a Snapdragon 865 ++ because it shares most of the features with the 865. However, the + model comes with the main core clocked at 3.2GHz.
We see that the multi-core score of the Find X3 is lower than some Snapdragon 865-powered smartphones achieved in our tests, but the single core score is higher. The unit running the benchmark can be a pre-production model and we can predict better results than the retail version.
The rest of the features revealed by yesterday’s screenshots include a FullHD + display, 256GB of storage and a 12.6MP camera. More details about this will emerge in the coming days.
