OPPO is preparing to start the new year with surprises. The mysterious phone of the Chinese technology giant with model number PELM00 was approved by China’s 3C certification body last month. The phone, which is expected to bear the name OPPO Reno 5 Lite, has also received a certificate from TENAA today. Thanks to TENAA, the features and design of the phone have also emerged.
Images of the OPPO PELM00 do not clearly show the screen design. Therefore, it is difficult to comment on whether the screen has a water drop notch or a perforated camera cut. In very unlikely, under-screen camera technology may be included in this model.
There is a rectangular shaped module on the back of the device. The rear camera is also not clearly visible in the image. Therefore, it is not clear whether the phone is a triple camera or a quad camera setup.
The Reno5 Lite 5G will have a 6.43-inch screen with FH + resolution. Since there are no fingerprints on the back panel or edge of the phone, it looks like it could have an OLED display with an in-display fingerprint reader.
The phone will have a battery with a capacity of 4,220 mAh. This battery will support 30W fast charging. The phone, which will come out of the box with Android 11, seems to replace the Reno4 Lite 4G.
The phone, which we think will use the Snapdragon 600 series or MediaTek Dimensity series chipset, may have 6 GB of RAM.
