Camera in hand, one of the most challenging years the Sony brand, in the global market with the OPPO to strengthen his hand once again at the same table. Sony, which previously presented the IMX689 camera sensor to the Find X2 Pro and the IMX766 camera sensor to the OPPO Reno 5 Pro Plus, will now bring its sensor named IMX789 to Find X3. The new Find X3 series will be the first smartphone to have this camera sensor.
The Sony IMX689 used in the Find X2 Pro had a diagonal structure of 1 / 1.43 inch and 11.2 mm thickness. This sensor, with a resolution of 48 megapixels with four Bayer filters, attracted attention with two internal ISOs that can react differently according to light scenarios. The lens, which has a 25mm focal length, also achieved very successful shots with its f / 1.7 aperture. The IMX766 on the Reno 5 Pro Plus was 1 / 1.56 inch in size and 50 megapixel resolution.
If we look at the Sony IMX789 which will take place in the OPPO Find X3 series; We can say that we do not have clear information about the sensor yet. Based on its name, the camera sensor, which is likely to be the successor of the new sensor IMX689 in the Find X2 Pro, may be much more assertive, at least on the megapixel side. Unlike the 48-megapixel IMX689, the IMX789 can offer 108-megapixel resolution.
