OPPO is preparing a gaming phone. The company’s latest patent application reveals how the game-oriented phone will have a design.
Currently, OPPO, which aims to bring the Reno 6 5G series to users in more countries, is also working on a player-oriented phone. The OPPO gaming phone showed itself in a patent application filed with EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office). There is no information about when the phone will be introduced, we will probably meet OPPO’s first player phone in the next week or months.
Here’s What OPPO Gaming Phone Will Look Like
Important details and design images of the device were leaked via EUIPO. Details about the device’s codename or model number are unknown. However, the patent images published by the 91Mobiles site reveal some important details of the phone. OPPO’s upcoming gaming phone has a similar design to gaming smartphones like ASUS ROG Phone 5 and Lenovo Legion 2 Pro.
The front of the phone does not have a hole or notch in the screen. The screen bezels of the device are also quite thin. Where the front camera and other auxiliary sensors are located remains a mystery for now. Our guess is that the upper bezel will be thicker than the images in the patent application and the front camera and sensors will be placed here.
On the back of the device, there is a quad camera setup. The camera module design is quite similar to the upcoming Reno6 Pro. However, details about the camera sensors are unknown.
The back of the device is textured and there is a ring in the middle in the middle. We can say that this ring has RGB lighting and is intended to make the design more attractive. We will continue to report as there are developments regarding OPPO’s player phone.
