POCO F3 News: We are here with the comparison of POCO’s new monster, POCO F3 and Galaxy S20 FE. Let’s see which phone has better features?
In the Android world, the concept of the performance beast has started to change shape lately. Companies keeping up with this process entered a great race to strengthen their phones with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 and 870 chipsets. The comparison of POCO F3 and Galaxy S20 FE will largely eliminate the question marks in the minds of phone buyers.
POCO F3 vs Galaxy S20 FE
Processor and RAM
We start our comparison with the processor. POCO’s beast features the Snapdragon 870 chipset. The Galaxy S20 FE is powered by Snapdragon 865. There is no big difference between these two processors on paper. There is no difference in performance that will affect daily life. However, it is obvious that the Snapdragon 870 is a bit better.
While the Snapdragon 870 chipset scored 658,583 points in the AnTuTu test, the Snapdragon 865 managed to score 596,236 points. In addition, the frequency speed of the SD 870 goes up to a maximum of 3.20 GHz. The Snapdragon 865 is clocked at 2.84 GHz at its maximum.
On the RAM side, the Galaxy S20 FE has 6 GB RAM and 8 GB RAM options. It should be noted that in addition to these, POCO F3 has a version with 12 GB RAM in China.
On the screen side, Samsung uses a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 with 120 Hz refresh on the Galaxy S20 FE. POCO is equipped with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 at 120 Hz. The POCO F3‘s screen features Xiaomi’s MEMC technology to prevent blur. In this way, blurring in moving images is minimized.
Let’s come to the camera side that everyone is curious about. Galaxy S20 FE uses 12 MP main + 8 MP telephoto + 12 MP ultra wide-angle lens. On the other hand, POCO F3 features Sony signed 48 MP main + 8 MP ultra wide angle lens + 5 MP telemacro camera. If we look at the DxOMark results, the S20 FE manages to score 113 points in the tests. However, the camera score of the POCO F3 is not yet clear. Although both phones are said to have a head-to-head performance on the camera side, the 48 MP camera in POCO F3 manages to take the Chinese company one step ahead.
Let’s move on to the battery side, which is the biggest problem of smartphones. POCO F3 has a 4,520 mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging support, while Galaxy S20 FE has a 4,500 mAh battery with 25W fast charging. POCO’s obvious advantage in fast charging seems to be at this point. Also, considering the success of Snapdragon 870 in battery consumption, POCO F3 is ahead of its rival at the end of the day.
