The Poco M3 Pro 5G design has been officially confirmed, the main camera will have a 48 MP sensor.
Poco has officially confirmed the design of the M3 Pro 5G model. The phone matches the leaked renders we saw a week ago. The camera part is limited to the upper left corner instead of going over the device like the vanilla M3.
The camera part has a different surface than the rest of the phone and highlights the camera part of the device. The large “POCO” logo is also prominent, and the company is so proud of this design that they added “Designed by Poco” in lowercase letters.
When taking a closer look at the image, it is noteworthy that the main camera has a 48 MP sensor, just like the vanilla model. There is no information on the other two modules yet (in vanilla these were disposable 2 MP modules), but there seems to be some additional hardware here. Could it be a laser autofocus system?
The Poco M3 Pro 5G will be 8.92mm thick and the camera island looks almost flush with the rear. The phone will weigh 190 grams.
Previous details announced by the company include a 90 Hz 6.5 ”1080p + display, 18W fast charging 5,000 mAh battery and Dimensity 700 chipset. The phone is most likely a reconfigured Redmi Note 10 5G so you can take a look at this for a preview of the features. The full statement is scheduled for this Wednesday (May 19th). It will be broadcast live at noon GMT.
