It was announced that the bail of Thomas Lane, one of the four police officers on trial in the George Floyd trial killed by the police while detained in Minnesota, Minnesota, USA.
Lane, 37, who was held in Hennepin County Prison, was announced to be released on bail of $ 750,000.
On 25 May, Derek Chauvin, who was accused of causing the death of George Floyd, was sued for a second-degree murder, and 3 other police officers, Tou Thao, Thomas Lane and Alexander Kueng, who were involved in the incident, were helped and abetted.
The police involved were fired from the Minneapolis Police Department.
Lane’s lawyer claimed that her client was trying to help Floyd, contrary to popular belief.
