Chinese smartphone manufacturer Realme is preparing to meet its fans with ambitious products. Realme GT 5G, which is expected to be one of the most powerful models in the mobile world, will be a model that will redistribute cards in the game.
The smartphone, which is expected to be launched on March 4, may be preparing to appear within the scope of MWC, which will be held in Shanghai beforehand. Preparations for the congress, which is planned to start on February 23, broke some surprises.
While the future of the smartphone with Snapdragon 888 was announced by the company before the introduction, it will speed up the phone with extremely important hardware such as 12 GB LPDDR5 and 256 GB UFS 3.1. The design of the phone is very similar to previous leaks.
The smartphone, which will move away from the glass design we are used to and have a yellow-colored and leather-like back surface, hosts a triple camera module with a main camera of 64 Megapixels. The camera module on the upper left side, with its black coating, has been extended throughout the model to create an impression of integrity.
We have seen a similar design in the Huawei Mate 20 RS Porsche Design model introduced in 2018 and the OnePlus Concept One in 2020. In this design that blends leather and piano black, the camera module is positioned in the middle.
Realme GT 5G specifications
The model, which will include a Snapdragon 888 processor, LPDDR5 12 GB RAM and UFS 3.1 256 GB internal storage, will feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 20: 9 aspect ratio. The screen will have a scanning speed of 120Hz and the resolution will be at the level of 1440 x 3200 pixels.
Some developments that surfaced before were that the GT 5G will have triple rear cameras and the main sensor will have a resolution of 64 megapixels. 13 Megapixel ultra-wide and telephoto sensors are expected to accompany it. On the front, there will be a single camera and there will be a hole on the screen for this.
It was noted that it will carry a 5,000 mAh battery with 65 watts of fast charging support. However, although it is said that Realme will launch the 125-watt UltraDART fast charging solution with the GT 5G once, there is no concrete information yet.
