Realme News: China’s rising star realme will work with a famous name on camera. Look who realme’s lenses will be entrusted to? Here are the details.
In the phone market, flagship devices definitely need to offer a good camera. For this reason, technology giants were working with names that specialized in lenses. Now, China’s rising star realme is preparing to partner with a photography giant on camera.
Who will realme deal with about the camera?
Regarding the camera, Nokia preferred to work with Zeiss. Zeiss signed optics were also used in Vivo smartphones this year. OnePlus is working with Hasselblad and Huawei/Honor is working with Leica. The Sharp Aquos R6, the phone with the world’s largest lens, agreed with Leica. It has been talked about for a while that Samsung will also entrust the lenses to Olympus. So, who will realme deal with?
Famous leaker Digital Chat Station made an interesting claim today. As expected, Realme will not be dealing with Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic, Pentax, Polaroid, Leica, Zeiss or Hasselblad. According to the allegations, the Chinese manufacturer will sign an agreement with the Kodak brand in an interesting way. For now, it is not known on which model the lenses of the photography giant Kodak will be used.
The first phone to be powered by the Snapdragon 895 chipset will be the realme GT2. Expect to see Kodak-signed lenses on this flagship phone. Presumably in 2022, 1-inch lenses will become standard on flagship models. That’s why the Chinese manufacturer does not want to make an agreement with Kodak and leave it to chance.
For now, there is no evidence to confirm these claims. An official announcement for this partnership will likely be made in the last quarter of the year.
