RedMagic 6R News: Nubia announced its new game phone. We knew the features of RedMagic 6. This time, the affordable RedMagic 6R is on the way.

 

In March, Nubia’s gaming wing launched the Red Magic 6 and Red Magic 6 Pro powered by the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform. The company announced that it will launch a new phone called RedMagic 6R in China on May 27.

Last month, a Nubia smartphone with model number NX666J appeared on the TENAA certification site with all the features. Later it was seen in the Bluetooth SIG authority with the Red Magic 6R name and Bluetooth 5.2 support. Earlier this month, it received approval from 3C certification. The TENAA view of the RedMagic 6R features a 6.67-inch OLED panel that produces Full HD + resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It is not yet confirmed whether it supports 120Hz or 144Hz refresh rate.

The Snapdragon 888 SoC will likely power the device and will come in RAM options such as 6 GB, 8 GB and 12 GB. It may be available in storage options such as 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB.

The rear camera setup has a 64-megapixel main camera and a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies. Information on other cameras is not yet available. For security, it has an in-display fingerprint scanner. The 4100 mAh battery is expected to come with 55W fast charging support.
