Xiaomi introduced the MIUI 12.5 at its launch event in late December. It is a small update for MIUI 12 with performance and security improvements. This recently MIUI 12.5 update for Redmi K30S Ultra and Mi CC9 comes with build numbers V18.104.22.168.RJDCNXM and V22.214.171.124.RFCCNXM respectively. The second phone also gets Android 11, just like the Mi CC9 Meitu Edition.
The company has been releasing weekly beta versions since its official announcement. Recently, it started to offer stable structures for certain devices according to the program. These two structures are currently in the “Stable Beta” phase. This means it can only be used by a select few users. If there is no major bug soon, it is expected to reach all users gradually.
Similarly, we can expect Xiaomi to start releasing MIUI 12.5 update for international versions of these phones. For those who don’t know, the Redmi K30S Ultra is sold as Mi 10T and Mi CC9 is known as Mi 9 Lite in global markets.
Let’s remember the features of the K30S Ultra. The phone, which has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of internal storage, is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. On the camera side, there are 64 MP main camera, 13 MP ultra wide angle camera, 5 MP macro camera. There is a 20 MP selfie camera in the front. The phone, which comes out of the box with the Android 10 based MIUI 12 operating system, will receive major updates for two years.
