RIOT GAMES News: FOR THE FIRST TIME, RIOT GAMES COULD HAVE A CROSSOVER WITH EACH OTHER DURING THE 2021 SEASON
Just over a year after Valorant’s release, more and more players are enjoying this first-person shooter from Riot Games. The developer maintains a constant evolution in their video games, but until now they had not made a collaboration between them.
However, according to a recent leak, it seems that Riot is preparing the first crossover between Valorant and League of Legends, which would be inspired by the 2021 season of the MOBA.
Twitter user Valorleaks, who specializes in Riot Games shooter information, reported that Valorant will receive a special content pack inspired by League of Legends.
This would be the first time that the universes of both games would come together in a certain way, in an event called Sentinels of Light.
VALORANT WILL RECEIVE THE RUINED KING
The League of Legends package would arrive on July 8, which is when the La Ruina event will begin. In this way, the Riot Games FPS would receive a special Guardian skin and other items related to this MOBA event.
The Ruin event is focused on Viego, the Ruined King, and will expand on the rest of the titles that belong to the LoL universe, such as Teamfight Tactics and Legends of Runeterra. However, this time Valorant will also get involved in a certain way.
It is not known for sure what all the League of Legends content will be available, although it is expected that there will be many nods to Viego and everything they are doing with La Ruina. In fact, it is expected to be the way to prepare everything for the next release of The Ruined King, the RPG that Riot Games is preparing.
