Although Intel’s new iGPU architecture appears on external graphics cards, integrated graphics units based on the new architecture have not yet been used in the desktop market.
Test results published on a Chinese social media platform gave an idea of the integrated graphics units to accompany the upcoming Rocket Lake processors.
The 11th generation Core processor family will offer bulky IPC growth on the processor side with Cypress Cove cores. Although the hardware world focuses on this side, new generation Intel processors will bring the fruit of the long shifts that the blue team spent on the issue that has been criticized for years.
IGPU at GT 1030 level
In the post, it is seen that the new UHD 750 iGPU with Xe architecture combined with the 6/12 Core i5-11500 achieved 1053 points in the scenario using 3200 MHz RAMs used in the system. The new integrated GPU is about to catch the GT 1030 with 1100-1200 points in this state.
On the other hand, if we compare it with the UHD 630, it is seen that the UHD 750 offers an improvement of 50%. Despite all these improvements, let’s note that the new iGPU is far behind the 1600 points score of the Ryzen 7 4750G APU, which AMD will soon replace with Zen 3 architecture solutions. Moreover, AMD is expected to switch to the new iGPU architecture with DDR5.
