More evidence that the ROG Phone 3 may be released soon has just emerged. The ASUS gamer smartphone was listed on the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and also had one of its accessories leaked at a store.
According to details obtained by My Smart Price, the smartphone appeared on the registry with the code name Asus ZS661KS. Registration with the Eurasian Economic Commission serves as a prerequisite for the sale of cell phones in certain countries, which may be an indication that ASUS should bring the device to the market soon.
In addition to having appeared at EEC, the cell phone also had a supposed accessory leaked online. According to My Smart Price, a website that sells products for ASUS devices listed a USB-C cable made for the ROG Phone 3.
According to the website, when the user searches for the code name ZS661KS in the European store Acessoires Asus, the search directs to the page of a USB-C cable made for the ROG Phone line. Previously, the ROG Phone 3 even had a dedicated page on the online retailer’s portal, which listed parts compatible with the product.
The new leaks on the phone arrive about a week after the ROG Phone 3 appeared on Geekbench. The gamer smartphone was listed in the benchmark with Snapdragon 865 processor and 8 GB of RAM.
Following the specifications seen in the previous model of the line, the trend is for the ROG Phone 3 to reach the market with a variant of 12 GB of RAM and with a 120 Hz frequency screen. The product can also have different accessories to improve the experience in the consumption of games.
So far, ASUS has not revealed a possible date for the launch of ROG Phone 3. According to My Smart Price, the company will possibly hold an event in July to present the smartphone gamer and also the Zenfone 7 line.
