John McAfee News; The Spanish Ministry of Justice confirmed that John McAfee passed away in his cell. McAfee’s death was recorded as a suicide case. The extradition of the world-famous antivirus software developer to the USA was recently approved.
McAfee was wanted by several countries for tax evasion in Spain. Over the years, the entrepreneur has tried to avoid these pressures by moving from country to country, hiring copycats, and staying on his mega yacht. McAfee has repeatedly made public that the CIA is after him, and that even US authorities are keen to kill him.
The cryptocurrency community began to develop close relationships with McAfee after he started making Bitcoin predictions. McAfee was a big proponent of Bitcoin and said that in 2020 BTC will see $ 1 million, if this does not happen, he will eat his own genitals.
Last year, McAfee was accused of money laundering and fraud by the US after its involvement in ICOs. He was accused of pumping and dumping cryptocurrency schemes using social media. According to lawyers, McAfee would face a life sentence if found guilty in the US. Therefore, he urged the Spanish government to reject the US request.
While commenting on the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, the inventor of Bitcoin, McAfee said that he knew himself and that only a few people knew about this information. After saying that he would reveal Satoshi’s true identity, he later backed down on this issue as well.
Last week, McAfee also stated via his Twitter account that he currently does not hold cryptocurrencies, although most of his assets have been confiscated.
The US believes I have hidden crypto. I wish I did but it has dissolved through the many hands of Team McAfee (your belief is not required), and my remaining assets are all seized. My friends evaporated through fear of association.
I have nothing.
Yet, I regret nothing.

Hoskinson explained that McAfee’s motive for committing suicide was obvious, as he was facing more than 30 years in prison. Because while serving this sentence, it was possible that he would die in prison.
Anthony Pompliano, one of Bitcoin’s biggest proponents, described McAfee as “a kind, funny, and incredibly intelligent person.”
I once had the opportunity to spend the day with the legend @officialmcafee on his boat in the Bahamas.
He was kind, funny, and incredibly intelligent.
Will always remember that day. RIP to one of the world’s most unique individuals. pic.twitter.com/B5FnvDBRYK

After his comments in previous years, some in the community were not convinced of McAfee’s death. Because the world-famous software developer had stated in the past that he would never commit suicide, and that if he died, the US authorities would do so.
Getting subtle messages from U.S. officials saying, in effect: “We’re coming for you McAfee! We’re going to kill yourself”. I got a tattoo today just in case. If I suicide myself, I didn’t. I was whackd. Check my right arm.$WHACKD available only on https://t.co/HdSEYi9krq🙂 pic.twitter.com/rJ0Vi2Hpjj
