It was said that the Samsung Galaxy A72, which is expected to be introduced in the coming days, will come in two different versions supporting 4G and 5G connectivity. However, it seems that this will not be the case.
As you know, the images and detailed technical features of the Samsung Galaxy A72 were leaked to the internet recently. The smartphone was thought to be released in two versions, but the situation looks different. According to the German sensor Max Jambor, the device will not be a 5G model. It will only come with 4G LTE support.
This is a bit interesting, as the lower Galaxy A52 is known to offer 5G connectivity. The company may have made such a decision not to inflate the smartphone’s price tag. If you remember, it was reported that the Galaxy A72 will be available in Europe at a price of 449 euros.
The device will appear with an IP67 protected plastic case, a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz, and an under-screen fingerprint scanner. It will also be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor and 6/8 GB RAM.
Other possible features of the smartphone include a quad rear camera system with 64 + 12 + 8 + 2 megapixel sensors and a 5,000 mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy A72 will be introduced alongside the Galaxy A52 at the end of this month or early next month.
