The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, which the South Korean technology giant Samsung is preparing to launch, has been detailed in all its aspects. Press images, features and price tag of the tablet were leaked.
Samsung is expected to launch its first “Fan Edition” tablet, a successor to the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, which debuted last year. But the Galaxy Tab S7 FE isn’t the only affordable Android tablet the South Korean giant is working on. The budget-friendly Galaxy Tab A7 Lite model is also on the way.
The German WinFuture website shared the official press images and technical features of the tablet, which will be available soon. It looks like the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite will have a pretty similar design to the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) that was released in March last year.
The tablet will carry an 8.7 inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1.340 x 800. It will also come in thick bezels. Galaxy Tab A7 Lite will reportedly get its power from the MediaTek MT8768x (Helio P22T) chipset. It should also be noted that it will be equipped with 3 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 64 GB eMMC storage.
The price tag is also revealed
Samsung’s new affordable tablet will include an 8-megapixel rear camera capable of 1080p video recording, a 2-megapixel front camera, stereo speakers and a 5.100mAh battery with fast charging support. It is not clear whether the tablet, which will come out of the box with Android 11, will be upgraded to Android 12.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is expected to be introduced in June. However, the launch date is not yet clear. According to the information reported, the Wi-Fi variant of the tablet will be sold with a price tag of 147 euros, while the model with Wi-Fi + LTE will be sold with a price tag of 174 euros.
