Sources close to Samsung state that the company will meet users with three different Exynos processors this year.
With the Galaxy S21 series, Samsung’s plans for 2021 have emerged, which introduced the Exynos 2100 processor produced with a 5 nm fabrication process. Ice Universe, one of the reliable sources of the industry, stated that the South Korean technology giant will be able to meet users with three different Exynos processors in 2021.
Expressing that Samsung will announce three different Exynos processor models at mid, upper and flagship level this year, Ice Universe said that these processors will belong to the 800, 1200 and 2200 series. He also underlined that the Ice Universe 1200 and 2200 series processors will host GPU units based on AMD’s RDNA architecture.
In addition, the source emphasizes that Samsung will share the first details about Exynos processors with AMD Radeon GPUs with users in June, and points out that these processors will be introduced towards the end of the year.
Exynos 2200 Can Have Two Different Versions
Apart from all this shared information, an important claim was made by ZDNet Korea. In this section, it was stated that Samsung is working on two different Exynos 2200 models for Android smartphones and laptops.
The source says that the laptop version of the Exynos 2200 will power Windows 10 operating system computers, and that this processor can be launched in the third quarter of the year at the earliest.
