According to the new report published by the reliable news sources TheElec, 120 Hz screens that Apple will use in iPhone 13 models to be introduced in September will be supplied from Samsung.

Information has emerged about a new partnership between Apple and Samsung. According to the leaked information, Samsung will be the only partner to supply Apple screens for new iPhones.

iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max will come with a 120 Hz display

It is said that only the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will receive new LTPO AMOLED displays with 120 Hz refresh rate, and these will be produced exclusively by Samsung Display. Not only that, but Samsung Electro-Mechanics will supply rigid and flexible printed circuit boards (RFPCB).

This material is used to connect the OLED panel to the motherboard. The RFPCB is a rigid but foldable board, which allows for better product designs and faster transmission of electrical signals. Also, RFPCBs are an expensive material than the more traditional FPCBs. Samsung Electro-Mechanics, on the other hand, had considered leaving the RFPCB business last year because it had not been profitable for the past few years and the last product it supplied the cards to was the iPhone 12. It looks like the company could make a breakthrough in this space, after the iPhone 13 generation.
