Work is underway for the third season of the successful series The Boys, created by Eric Kripke and adapted from Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s comic book of the same name, the first season of which was broadcast in 2019.
The future of the third season of The Boys, which had grown its audience with its second season last year, was already known. In fact, it was already announced that the plans for the shooting were made. Jack Quaid, one of the leading actors of the series, announced that he was on his way to start shooting.
It is not known exactly when the third season of the series will air, but it will most likely be broadcast again in September-October. In the third season, Soldier Boy, played by Jensen Ackles, who is known for his Supernatural TV series, will be added to the series. The character, which is also in the comics, is expected to bring a slightly different atmosphere to the series.
A spin-off series was also announced for The Boys, but unfortunately it does not have much detail yet. We’ll learn more about this series in the coming weeks.
