Huawei P50 may come with Snapdragon 888 processor. One or two phones in the series are expected to have Qualcomm processors. Let’s look at the details…
Huawei, the most troubled name in the smartphone world, will announce the Huawei P50 series, which it had to postpone three times, on July 29, judging by the latest developments. We have more than a month ahead of us and the P50 series is not falling off the agenda as it has been for a long time. The P50 series is on the agenda this time with a development that we can call a surprise. According to reliable sources, the Huawei P50 will have a Snapdragon 888 processor.
This development may come as a surprise at first due to the current US sanctions. However, Qualcomm has permission to supply processors to the Chinese manufacturer, and these processors must be 4G supported. Qualcomm, which is currently working on the 4G version of the Snapdragon 888 processor, seems to provide Huawei with a top processor due to supply problems from the Kirin 9000 processor.
So which phones or phones in the series will use the Snapdragon 888? There is no clear explanation about this, but it is considered to be in the base model, the P50. The Huawei P50 Pro is expected to feature Kirin 9000. If the Huawei P50 Pro Plus is introduced, it is expected that the Kirin 9000 will power this model as well.
Recently, the first Benchmark test results of Snapdragon 888 Pro have started to appear. The processor, which is expected to be introduced in July, will have both 5G and 4G versions. The 5G version is expected to be included in some of the top models that Xiaomi will announce in the second half of the year, especially the OnePlus 9T.
