In the statement made by the company, it was stated that another model was developed for the 8 series, adhering to the 5G working schedule. It is stated that the processor, which will increase performance and save power, will bring a new generation camera, artificial intelligence and gaming experience. It is also stated that the new model will support 5G connection using X55 5G modem.

When the features of Snapdragon 865 Plus are examined, Kyro 585 cores meet at first with 3.1 GHz speed. These cores have provided a 10 percent speed increase. However, the Adreno 650 graphics unit is also on the processor. Thanks to this unit, graphics operations also achieved a 10 percent speed increase. Also, thanks to Qualcomm FastConnect 6900, Wi-Fi speed reached 3.6 Gbps. Thus, high connection speeds were achieved in wireless connections.

The model, produced with a 7 nm fabrication process, also supports Bluetooth 5.2 technology. In addition, the new model will be able to offer up-to-date technologies such as 144 Hz refresh screen, 960 FPS slow motion video and Wi-Fi 6 support. The processor will also support key features such as 200 Megapixel camera, HDR10 +, 4K @ 60Hz or QHD + @ 144Hz video, Qualcomm Quick Charge 4 plus and 2750 MHz memory speed.
